Instruments of self-destruction

Life is precious and we all have crazy ideas. We should try our best to be different and make a difference. The world is wide open and we are meant to travel, experience and to LIVE. Many times I’ve been put down by my own thoughts. I have not achieved as much I should have because I was busy trying to follow someone; not trying to lead myself to greater glory.

We know that in a capitalist world, money is important. But how many friendships come to an end? How many family ties are broken? How many people are get murdered in the streets? How many government officials gets corrupted? How many people work 10 to 5 and not get paid the amount they deserve? How much creativity is destroyed? Ohh bugger, everything wrong is wrong in our head. We have a crisis. We have a major situation.

Capitalism looks all right to me in theory. Those who work hard should benefit for their efforts and the lazy ones are to struggle. If only the conditions were supportive, the world would known peace. In this century we are obliged to follow the rules and think inside a box. Education itself is a lie. How many people really work on the field they specialise in? How much do we miss out when we read books sorted out by the people of higher power and not the words of an ordinary person like you and me? From the movie Fight Club, I realised that “The things you own end up owning you”. Rules will bend you and money is what rules over you. How much do we get an idea from somebody’s belief and not out own? Have you ever considered how biased the world is? Have you considered how racist the word racist is? The media is a big lie that takes sides. Somebody always profits when we follow the rules. The law is not something to be taught but to practice with common sense.

As quoted by Wooderson in the classic 1993 movie Dazed and Confused, “The older you get, the more rules they are going to try and get you to follow. You just gotta keep on livin’, man. L-I-V-I-N.” We all need to make our own choices. Growing up, falling apart and picking ourselves up is the essence of life. Believe in karma and the fact that life is a sine curve. Without sorrow there is no joy. Without pain, there is no achievement but do not lose yourself to the system. Do not be dependent on anyone or let a higher power tell you what to do. Don’t be afraid to be labeled the insane one; rather be proud.

It’s a world ruled by pigs, controlled by dogs and followed by sheep’s. It’s the creative minds that speaks for the world. What good is it of we only agree to it and not protest. What joy if we are only consumed by the one we work for. It’s time to rise and shine. It’s time to speak up and work our creative minds. It’s time to explore on our own to create a better world for all of us.
